Introduction
The chemical name of Calcium/Sodium PVM/MA Copolymer is 2-Butenedioic acid (2Z)-, polymer with methoxyethene, calcium sodium salt. It is polymerized by 2-butenedioic acid (also known as maleic acid) and methoxyethylene (methyl vinyl ether) in the presence of calcium and sodium ions.
It is easily soluble in water, and its adhesive force increases rapidly after contact with water, and its adhesive force value loses slowly; it is insoluble in oily matrices such as white oil and vaseline.
