Cationic Additives for Fracturing Acidizing Fluids

Introduction

This product is a cationic quaternary ammonium salt polymer surfactant, with the appearance of a colorless to light yellow viscous liquid. It is easily soluble in water, safe and non-toxic; it has good hydrolysis stability and strong adaptability to pH changes. The solidification point is about -2.8℃, the specific gravity is about 1.04g/cm3, and the decomposition temperature is 280-300℃. During fracturing and acidizing, clay minerals will hydrate and expand and particles will migrate in the rock formation, resulting in formation blockage and reduced oil recovery. This product can inhibit clay hydration expansion and particle migration, improve the fracturing and acidizing effect, and extend the effective period of fracturing and acidizing treatment. This product has good compatibility with other fracturing acidizing fluid systems, is easy to construct and prepare, and is harmless and odorless.

Application

During the oil production process, the fracturing fluid is squeezed into the formation to create cracks and improve the seepage capacity. However, during fracturing and acidification, the clay minerals in the rock formation will be hydrated, expand and migrate. The use of this additive can inhibit the above phenomenon, partially stabilize the expanded minerals, and significantly increase the effective time, achieving the purpose of increasing production and injection. This product can be used as an anti-swelling agent for injected water. This product can also be used for "cation blocking" in polymer flooding, using it to react with the "anion" polymer in the formation to reduce the permeability of the high permeability layer.

Usage

Before use, conduct an advanced test to determine the application method and dosage. Reference dosage: In fracturing construction, it can be used for water-sensitive sandstone geology with a clay content of more than 5% and relatively loose cementation. The concentration is generally 0.2-0.5%. Add this product after the fracturing thickener is fully swollen and circulate it later before use.

Packaging and storage

Use PE plastic barrels of 125kg.

Sealed packaging, sealed storage, avoid contact with strong oxidants. Valid for two years, can be transported as non-dangerous goods.
