Cationic Coagulants for Water Treatment

Introduction

This product is a strong cationic polyelectrolyte, with a colorless to light yellow viscous liquid appearance, a freezing point of about -2.8℃, a specific gravity of about 1.04g/cm3, and a decomposition temperature of 280-300℃. It is easily soluble in water, non-flammable, has strong cohesion, good hydrolysis stability, does not form gels, is insensitive to pH changes, and has chlorine resistance. This product is non-toxic and has no adverse reactions to the human body. It is the only synthetic cationic quaternary ammonium salt polyelectrolyte approved by the United States Public Health Service (USPHS) for use in drinking water purification. It is safe and reliable to use and has mild corrosion. In water treatment, this product has both strong electrical neutralization and adsorption bridging effects, so it has good flocculation and sedimentation performance. It also has obvious effects in decolorization, algae killing, and removal of organic matter. It is usually used in combination with polyaluminium chloride.

It is used as a water purification coagulant in drinking water and cooling water treatment. It can also be used as a biocide to kill or inhibit the growth of various bacteria and algae. It is also an effective slime control agent. Usage:

Packaging and storage

Use PE plastic barrels 125kg.

Sealed packaging, sealed storage, avoid contact with strong oxidants. Valid for two years, can be transported as non-dangerous goods.
