Introduction 

Crospovidone is hygroscopic, insoluble in water, acid, alkali and general organic solvents; it swells rapidly upon absorbing water but does not form a gel; it has good fluidity and plasticity, and high compressibility; it is non-toxic and chemically inert.

Application:

As a super disintegrant, it is used in preparations to make the preparations swell and disintegrate rapidly, effectively improving drug dissolution and bioavailability, and can adapt to wet granulation and direct compression processes. Products with different particle sizes are used in different addition processes, affecting the disintegration time and tablet appearance.
As an adsorbent and complexing agent, it is used in preparations to stabilize the active ingredients of the drug through complexation, improve drug release and bioavailability; there are obvious differences in drug release between products with different particle sizes.
As a suspension stabilizer, it reduces the sedimentation of drug particles and increases the ability of sedimented liquid to redisperse;
