Introduction
Di-Sec-octyl carbonate is a colorless liquid with a boiling point of about 300°C. It has a low pour point and good lubricity, wear resistance, self-cleaning, corrosion resistance and high thermal oxidation stability. Compared with hydrocarbon oils, it has good solubility and is biodegradable. It is a good lubricant base material.
Di-sec-octyl carbonate can be compounded with external electron donors to form diester catalysts, which can be used to adjust the reaction temperature during propylene polymerization to control the polymerization reaction to proceed smoothly. It can also be used as a lubricant base material.
