Product Details
Introduction
Diallyl carbonate is a colorless, transparent liquid with a pungent odor. Its molecular structure contains two active allyl groups and one carbonate group, which makes it exhibit excellent activity in a variety of chemical reactions. It is soluble in organic solvents such as alcohols, aromatic hydrocarbons and chloroform, such as ethanol, methanol, toluene and chloroform. It is often used as a polymer monomer, especially in the preparation of polycarbonate and polyurethane.

Application
Polymer cross-linking monomer: used as a cross-linking agent or toughening agent in thermosetting and light-curing resins (such as polycarbonate, polyurethane) to improve the mechanical properties and thermal stability of the material.
It is mostly used in the production of monomers for special polymers and is the raw material for the production of diethylene glycol bisallyl carbonate.
