Introduction
This product is a high-purity, polymer-grade, quaternary ammonium salt, high-charge density cationic monomer. Its DMDAAC aqueous solution is a colorless, transparent, non-irritating liquid with a slight viscosity. DADMAC is completely and easily soluble in water. Its molecular formula is C8H16NC1, and its molecular weight is 161.5. The molecular structure contains olefinic double bonds, which can form linear homopolymers and various copolymers through various polymerization reactions. DADMAC is very stable at room temperature, non-hydrolyzed, non-flammable, low irritation to the skin, and low toxicity. There are two forms of its product: one is an aqueous solution with a certain concentration; the other is a solid white powder. This product is an aqueous solution with a content of 60% and 65%, with two specifications.

Application
As a cationic monomer, DADMAC forms a series of high molecular polymer products through homopolymerization or copolymerization with other monomers. Its polymer can be used as an excellent formaldehyde-free color fixing agent in textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries, forming a film on the fabric to improve the color fastness; in papermaking auxiliaries, it can be used as a retention filter, antistatic for paper coating, and AKD ripening accelerator; in water treatment, it can be used for decolorization, flocculation and purification, which is efficient and non-toxic; in daily chemicals, it can be used as a combing agent, wetting agent and antistatic agent for shampoo; in oilfield chemicals, it can be used as a clay stabilizer, acid fracturing fluid cationic additive, etc. Its main functions are electrical neutralization, adsorption, flocculation, purification, and decolorization. In particular, as a modifier for synthetic resins, it imparts conductivity and antistatic properties.
