Product Details
Introduction
Dibutyltin bis(isooctylmaleate) is a dialkyltin carboxylate featuring two isooctylmaleate ligands bound to a dibutyltin center. It appears as a colorless to pale yellow liquid or low-melting solid (melting point ca. –25 °C) with a density around 1.145 g/cm³ and flash point of 123 °C. Its high thermal and hydrolytic stability combined with moderate Lewis acidity make it an effective catalyst in esterification, polyester and polyurethane formulations, as well as a stabilizer in PVC processing.
