Application
It is the main raw material for producing cationic quaternary ammonium salts. It can react with benzyl chloride to produce double-chain benzyl quaternary ammonium salt D1017, which is widely used in the disinfectant and bactericide industries. It can react with quaternary ammonium raw materials such as methyl chloride to produce double-chain quaternary ammonium salt D1021 (DDAC), which can be used as a bactericide, softener, surfactant, and is used in water treatment, veterinary drugs, disinfectants, oil fields, textiles, daily chemicals and other industries. It can react with dimethyl sulfate and diethyl sulfate to form gemini quaternary ammonium salts.
