Diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate is a benzoate UV absorber that can effectively absorb 320-400 nm UV light with an absorption peak at 354 nm. It has high UV absorption efficiency and good photothermal and chemical stability, and is one of the UV absorbers with the highest absorption efficiency in the UVA band.
Diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate is sold under various trade names, such as BASF's Uvinul A Plus. This compound is known for its excellent photostability and compatibility with other UV absorbers and cosmetic ingredients, and is suitable for cosmetics, sunscreens, filters, etc. The general dosage is 0.2-0.5%.
