Introduction
Diisodecyl adipate is a colorless viscous liquid. It is soluble in water (25°C), soluble in most organic solvents and hydrocarbons, and insoluble or slightly soluble in glycerol. It is a cold-resistant and very compatible plasticizer.

Application
Diisodecyl adipate is commonly used as a plasticizer in polymers to improve the flexibility, low temperature stability and migration resistance of plastics. It is suitable for PVC and other plastic products.
It is used in biodegradable materials such as thermoplastic starch (TPS) and polylactic acid (PLA) to improve the mechanical properties and weather resistance of films.
It can also be used to prepare cellulose triacetate-based films, as a modifier for polymer films in electrochemical applications, and to adjust the softness and fluidity in other polymer materials.
