Introduction and Application
Lauroyl arginine ethyl ester is used as a preservative. Lauroyl arginine ethyl ester hydrochloride is a cationic surfactant with a wide range of activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, yeasts and molds. It acts on the cell membrane and cytoplasm and inhibits the growth of the population, but no cell lysis was observed under the conditions studied. It can be used in a variety of foods. It is mainly used in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. Cosmetic industry: Lauroyl arginine ethyl ester hydrochloride at a concentration below 0.4% is used as a preservative in cosmetics (except lip products, oral hygiene products and spray products) and soaps, with ethyl hydrochloride shampoo and the highest concentration of lauroyl arginine non-spray deodorant used is 0.8%; Pharmaceutical: The product is used to inhibit the growth of other microorganisms.
