Introduction and Application
Properties:Colorless, transparent fuming liquid with a pungent odor and a strong acidic reaction. Soluble in water and has disinfecting properties. Volatile, can corrode glass, ceramics, lead and other metals, has strong corrosion to the skin, is toxic to human respiratory organs, and should be stored in plastic containers.
Uses: It is mainly used to prepare raw materials for sodium fluorosilicate, potassium, ammonium, magnesium, copper, barium, lead and other fluorosilicates and silicon tetrafluoride, and is used for metal electroplating, wood preservation, beer disinfection, brewing industry equipment disinfection (1-2% H2SiF6), lead electrolytic refining, etc.
