Introduction and Application
Indium sulfide is a semiconductor material with extremely high potential utilization value. It can be used as a buffer layer material for CIGS thin-film solar cells and is expected to be a substitute for Cds buffer layers. It has good application prospects in photovoltaic and optoelectronic devices. As a low-hazard buffer material, indium sulfide has the characteristics of a wide band gap (2.2eV) and easy alloying conditions. It can be used as a candidate material for the shell of pure red I-III-VI quantum dots. It is relatively stable at room temperature and pressure, belongs to the cubic crystal system, has a tetrahedral and octahedral spatial structure, and has a high density of In vacancies. Generally, there are α, β, and r3 phases, and the β phase is stable at room temperature.
Indium sulfide is used in material science. It is used for semiconductor materials and atomic absorption spectrometry. It is used to manufacture low-melting alloys, bearing alloys, and color glass. It can be used as electronic industrial materials and semiconductor doping sources.
