Application
Isopropyl isobutyl dimethoxysilane is mainly used as an external electron donor in propylene polymerization catalyst systems. It is used as an external electron donor for propylene polymerization to produce special polypropylene resin grades. Its unique electron donor properties can significantly improve the crystallinity, isotacticity and surface density of polyolefin products such as polypropylene, thereby improving the physical properties of the polymer. In addition, due to its excellent silicone properties, it may also be used in other organic synthesis and material modification fields.
