Product Details
Introduction
Isopropyl trioleyl titanate is a typical organic titanium complex with excellent surface modification and coupling properties. Its unique molecular structure makes it important for improving the interfacial bonding between inorganic fillers and organic polymers and promoting the performance of composite materials. This compound plays the role of catalyst, crosslinking agent and surface modifier in the coating, adhesive, plastic and rubber industries, and has good thermal and chemical stability.
Application
This product is mainly used to treat polyolefins filled with inorganic fillers such as calcium carbonate and talcum powder, which can improve the mechanical properties of the products. Applicable resins include: non-polar or semi-polar polymers such as PP and PE. It can be used in rubber products such as natural rubber and butadiene rubber to improve the tear strength, elongation at break, and tensile strength of the products. When used in coatings, it can reduce the viscosity of the system, increase the solid filling amount, increase leveling, and give the coating good wear resistance and corrosion resistance. As an inorganic filler surface treatment agent, it can treat calcium carbonate, talcum powder, and kaolin to increase the hydrophobicity and dispersibility of the filler.
