Product Description
Product Details
Introduction
KT 401 is an aromatic imine latent curing agent made from aromatic diamine and ketone aldehyde compounds. It is a low-viscosity liquid at room temperature, has good compatibility with NCO-based polyurethane prepolymers, and can reduce the viscosity of room temperature curing polyurethane systems.
KT 401 decomposes quickly when exposed to moisture, and the generated highly reactive amino groups react quickly with isocyanate groups to cure, so that moisture does not have time to react with isocyanate groups, thus avoiding the formation of bubbles due to a large amount of carbon dioxide gas not having time to escape in the adhesive layer.
KT 401 latent curing agent products are environmentally friendly products. They do not produce unpleasant odors during production and construction, have low VOC emissions, and give polyurethane cured products good mechanical properties.

Application
KT 401 is mainly recommended for use in single-component moisture-curing polyurethane coating systems, which can solve the foaming problem of polyurethane systems during moisture curing. It can also be used in products such as room temperature or medium temperature solvent-free two-component polyurethanes. The main uses include: polyurethane waterproof coatings, anti-corrosion coatings, floor coatings, and solvent-free polyurethane adhesives.
