KT-702 Nonionic fluorocarbon surfactant

Introduction

KT-702 is a highly compatible organic fluorine non-ionic surfactant, equivalent to DuPont FSN-100, which can significantly reduce the surface tension of liquids and has excellent interfacial wetting properties. When using ethylene glycol monobutyl ether as a solvent and diluting it to a concentration of 50%, it can completely dissolve in benzene, ketones, and esters, and the generated foam can disappear quickly and automatically. When used in water-based systems, it can be directly dissolved in water-based coatings when diluted to a concentration of 10% with tap water. This product can play a role in dispersing and leveling, and is used in solvent-based and water-based systems with a small amount and easy operation.

Application

In the field of coatings: improve the leveling of solvent-based and water-based coatings, the dispersion and wettability of pigments, and solve the fish-eye pinholes in coatings; after coating and drying, problems such as missing paint at corners, orange peel, pigment stratification, and floating can be improved by mixing with silicone surfactants to improve the smoothness of UV coatings;
Flux properties: adding this product to water-based flux can improve the qualified rate of welding points and save solder;
It is a highly versatile organic fluorosilicone surfactant, which is widely used in products such as solder resists, coatings, inks, floor waxes, pesticides, electronic cleaning, and electroplating treatment agents.

Usage
In water-based paints: directly add the surfactant diluted with pure water to a concentration of 10%, the dosage is 1-2%;
In solvent-based paints, the surfactant can be diluted with ethylene glycol monobutyl ether to a concentration of 10%, and then added to the paint, the dosage is about 2%.
