Introduction and Application
CGP is soluble in water and ethanol, but insoluble in oil. It can be heated to 65°C to dissolve in alcohol solvents or water. It is compatible with most cosmetic ingredients and can be used in combination with other preservatives. This product can be used in creams, lotions, facial masks, facial cleansers, shampoos, conditioners, sunscreens, wet wipes and other resident and wash-off products. It can effectively resist Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, has bactericidal activity against Aspergillus niger and Penicillium pineophilum, and has inhibitory effects on Candida albicans and brewer's yeast.
