Product Details
Introduction
KT 311 is equivalent to Caytur®31DA of Chemtura. It is a kind of thermosensitive delayed-reactive diamine curing agent that can be widely used in combination with a variety of polyurethane prepolymers (such as TDI/MDI, polyester/polyether), and is mainly used in the production of cast polyurethane elastomer products. It is composed of a symmetrical complex of aromatic diamine and sodium chloride, and is dispersed in an ester plasticizer, in which the content of free diamine is very low. At room temperature, it is almost inactive and will not gel when mixed with prepolymers without heating. However, when heated to about 120°C (the deblocking temperature can be reduced to 70~80°C when mixed evenly with terminal NCO prepolymers and a catalyst is added), the salt complex begins to dissociate, and the free diamine reacts quickly with the prepolymer to form a tough PU elastomer. Because KT 311 is a liquid with suitable viscosity,
Physical indicators

Application
It is suitable for molding processing technologies such as atmospheric casting, pressure or injection molding, rotational casting and single-material impregnation. It is particularly suitable for complex shapes or large-area products, microwave vulcanization and other occasions that require a long operating time and stability.
KT 311 is also used as a heat-reactive curing agent for epoxy resins.
