Introduction
Magnesium stearate is white granules or white powder with a greasy feel. It has dispersibility, water resistance, filling properties, homogeneity, compatibility, strong adsorption and hygroscopicity, is non-toxic, insoluble in water or ethanol, and decomposes into stearic acid and the corresponding magnesium salt when encountering strong acid.

Main Application
Magnesium stearate can be used in the pharmaceutical industry to reduce the kinetic energy of tableting by 5%-20% and is the most commonly used tablet release agent. In the cosmetics industry, magnesium stearate can improve the adhesion and lubricity of products such as foundation and lipstick and also has good waterproof properties and is widely used in powder and paste cosmetics. In addition, magnesium stearate can also be used as a flame retardant in plastic, rubber, and organic materials; a transparent matting agent for paints; and a dispersant and lubricant in polymer functional materials.
Other Application
1. Used as a stabilizer in combination with calcium soap and zinc soap when making polyvinyl chloride safety products;
2. Used as a release agent in the pharmaceutical industry when making tablets;
