Magnesium stearate can be used in the pharmaceutical industry to reduce the kinetic energy of tableting by 5%-20%, and is the most commonly used tablet release agent; in the cosmetics industry, magnesium stearate can improve the adhesion and lubricity of products such as foundation and lipstick, and also has good waterproof properties, and is widely used in powder and paste cosmetics; in addition, magnesium stearate can also be used as a flame retardant in plastic rubber organic materials, a transparent matting agent for paints, and a dispersant and lubricant in polymer functional materials.

1. Used as a stabilizer in combination with calcium soap and zinc soap when making polyvinyl chloride safety products;
