Introduction

Melamine cyanurate (MCA) is a colorless, odorless, non-toxic, white crystalline powder that is insoluble in water but soluble in solvents such as ethanol and formaldehyde. It is weakly acidic and stable within 300°C. It decomposes at 350°C by endothermic absorption.

Application

Melamine cyanurate is widely used in nylon, acrylic emulsion, polytetrafluoroethylene resin and other olefin resins as a halogen-free flame retardant component. It is particularly suitable for use in two pure nylons, nylon 6 and nylon 66. It has good flame retardant effect, small processing smoke, and can easily achieve the flame retardant grade of UL94V-O. It has the advantages of extremely low application cost, excellent electrical properties, mechanical properties and coloring properties. At the same time, when it is used as a mixed additive to manufacture flame retardant masterbatch, it has the advantage of easy processing due to its excellent balance between good thermal stability and high-efficiency flame retardancy.

This product is susceptible to moisture and should be placed in a cool, dry place. If the package is damaged, use it as soon as possible.
If the package is damaged or damp, dry it at 100℃±10℃ for 2 hours before use.
