Introduction

Methyl Hydrogen Silicone Fluid is a silicone polymer containing active Si-H bonds. It can form a strong waterproof film by cross-linking at low temperature under catalytic conditions. It is widely used in the fields of waterproofing, moisture-proofing, anti-sticking and modified silicone oil.

Application

Due to the active Si-H bond, Methyl Hydrogen Silicone Fluid not only has the excellent lubricity, heat resistance, corrosion resistance and insulation of traditional silicone oil, but also gives the product good reactivity and cross-linking ability. It is often used in moisture-proof, waterproof and mildew-proof treatment of gypsum board, ceramics, glass, cement, marble and other building materials, so that the surface of the substrate has durable hydrophobicity and corrosion resistance. When mixed with methyl hydroxy silicone oil emulsion, it can achieve the effect of waterproofing and maintaining fiber permeability at the same time, improve the tear strength, abrasion resistance and anti-fouling properties of the fabric, and optimize the fabric feel and stitching performance. As an important intermediate for the synthesis of polyether modified silicone oil or alkyl modified silicone oil, its reactivity makes subsequent modification more efficient.
