Introduction
Triethoxymethylsilane is an organosilane that can be used to prepare a known oxidation catalyst with excellent properties such as selectivity, stability and recyclability. It is also suitable for hydrogel heterogeneous platinum catalysts for the chemoselective hydrogenation of nitroaromatics.

Application

5. Used for the introduction of hydrophobic groups in the production process of aerogels.
