Nadic anhydride (NA), also known as cis-5-norbornene-2,3-dicarboxylic anhydride, has a bicyclic structure with two spatial isomers, endo and exo, and is an important chemical raw material.

Application
1. Used in unsaturated resin, it has better air dryness, higher heat resistance, finish, higher electrical properties, corrosion resistance and mechanical strength than the resin made with phthalic anhydride and tetrahydrophthalic anhydride.
2. Used as curing agent for epoxy resin, suitable for casting, laminating, powder molding, etc. The cured material has excellent weather resistance, heat resistance and electrical properties.
3. Used as modifier for alkyd resin, urea-formaldehyde resin, cyanuric ammonia resin and so on.
4. It can be used as insecticide, vulcanization regulator, plasticizer, surfactant, penetrant for textile finishing, etc.
