Introduction and Application
Nickel sulfide is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula NiS. It is insoluble in water, but soluble in nitric acid and aqua regia. It exists in the form of nickel ore in nature.
Nickel sulfide is mainly used to manufacture nickel-containing catalysts and high-nickel alloys, and can also be used as a catalyst for the catalytic decomposition reaction of sulfur-containing organic matter and hydrogenation reaction.
