Introduction
Octadecylamine, also known as stearylamine and 1-aminooctadecane, is an aliphatic amine compound produced in large quantities and is a white crystal at room temperature.
Properties
Freezing point :35-55°C, white waxy solid crystal, alkaline.
Soluble in chloroform, soluble in ethanol, ether and benzene, slightly soluble in acetone, insoluble in water.
Application
In the rubber industry, it is generally used in AEM, ACM, ECO and other rubbers as an internal mold release agent.
The general adding amount is 1%.
