Introduction
Octocrylene can be used as a UV absorber in plastics, coatings, dyes, etc.
UV absorber UV-3039 is a liquid UV absorber and an oil-soluble sunscreen and has good compatibility with plasticisers. It is particularly suitable for the stability of polyvinyl chloride plastisols. It can also be used with PUR, polyester and organic glass. This product can be used alone or in combination with other functional additives, such as antioxidants and hindered amine light stabilisers.
Octocrylene is mainly used in industry as an additive for silicone emulsions, inks, adhesives, resins, polyurethanes, coatings, polymers, etc.
