Oilfield Cationic Clay Stabilizer

Introduction

This product is a cationic quaternary ammonium salt type polymer, with the appearance of a colorless to light yellow viscous liquid. It is easily soluble in water, safe, non-toxic, has good hydrolysis stability, strong adaptability to pH changes, and is resistant to hydrogen. The specific gravity is about 1.02g/cm3, and the decomposition temperature is 150℃. It neutralizes the negative charge on the surface of the clay, firmly adsorbs on the surface of the clay mineral to form a film, prevents the clay mineral from hydrating, expanding, dispersing and migrating, is resistant to water erosion, and prolongs the water injection cycle, which can achieve good results in oil well oil injection and water well injection. This product has good compatibility with other fracturing fluids, acidizing fluids, etc., and has the effects of sterilization and anti-blocking.

Application

There is a certain amount of clay minerals in the oil-producing strata, among which the montmorillonite layer expansion-type clay minerals form a diffuse double electric layer when in contact with water and expand, causing the formation permeability to decrease. Non-expanding clay minerals can be dispersed into particles and migrate under scouring, enter the pores of the formation, block the channels, and also reduce the permeability. This cationic clay stabilizer can inhibit clay expansion and clay particle migration, and is mainly used for clay swelling prevention for water injection.

Usage: Perform an advanced test before use to determine the application method and dosage. This product is stable when placed and is not fermented or degraded by bacteria.

Packaging and storage

Use PE plastic barrels of 125kg.

Sealed packaging, sealed storage, avoid contact with strong oxidants. Valid for two years, can be transported as non-dangerous goods.
