Introduction
Oleyl polyether phosphate ester PMET is a special structure oil-alcohol polyether phosphate ester. It is a type of lubricant, extreme pressure anti-wear additive, corrosion inhibitor, wetting agent, emulsifier, etc. As a long-chain phosphate ester, it can be applied in high-load conditions causing boundary lubrication to reduce friction and wear, extend equipment service life, reduce tool wear and lower energy consumption. Compared with other sulfur-based compounds and chlorine-based compounds, phosphate esters can reduce corrosion, especially having excellent aluminum corrosion inhibition effect.
Features
Oleyl polyether phosphate ester PMET Multifunctionality: Integrates lubrication, extreme pressure anti-wear performance, emulsification, rust prevention, aluminum corrosion inhibition, and low-foaming properties, suitable for complex working conditions.
Eco-Friendly & Safe: Biodegradable and non-ecotoxic, complying with environmental regulations.
High Performance: Excellent emulsification stability for both water-based and oil-based systems. Outstanding rust prevention after amine neutralization, particularly effective for aluminum and stainless steel machining. Superior extreme pressure lubrication compared to traditional sulfur/chlorine additives, with lower corrosivity.
Process Optimization: Provides a "polishing" effect in cutting/grinding fluids, enhancing workpiece surface finish.
Functions:
1. Lubrication & Friction Reduction
Forms a durable lubricating film on metal surfaces, reducing friction in high-load conditions.
Minimizes tool wear and energy consumption in machining processes.
2. Extreme Pressure (EP) & Anti-Wear Protection
Provides outstanding load-bearing capacity under severe mechanical stress.
Prevents scuffing, galling, and seizure in metal forming and cutting operations.
3. Corrosion & Rust Inhibition
Offers excellent aluminum corrosion protection, making it ideal for non-ferrous metal machining.
Enhances rust prevention when neutralized with amines (suitable for water-based fluids).
4. Emulsification & Stability
Acts as an effective emulsifier in semi-synthetic and soluble oil formulations.
Improves fluid stability by preventing oil-water separation.
5. Surface Finishing Enhancement
Delivers a polishing effect in grinding/cutting fluids, improving workpiece surface smoothness.
Reduces micro-scratches and burrs for superior machining quality.
6. Foam Control & Compatibility
Low-foaming properties ensure smooth operation in high-speed machining.
Compatible with sulfur-, chlorine-, and phosphorus-based additives for synergistic performance.
7. Eco-Friendly & Safe
Biodegradable and non-toxic, meeting environmental regulations.
Reduces reliance on hazardous chlorinated/sulfurized additives.
Applications
Metalworking Fluids: Cutting oils, grinding fluids, rolling oils, stamping lubricants.
Water-Based & Oil-Based Lubricants: Semi-synthetic, soluble, and neat oils.
Specialty Uses: Glass cutting/polishing, hydraulic fluids, aluminum/stainless steel machining.
