Introduction
P-hydroxybenzoic acid is a monohydroxybenzoic acid derivative, white powder crystallization, tasteless, odorless, and numb when tasted. It is easily soluble in hot water and alcohol, ether and acetone, slightly soluble in cold water and benzene, and insoluble in carbon disulfide. Its most famous use is the preparation of a series of parabens (i.e., "preservatives"), which are widely used in cosmetic and pharmaceutical formulations.

Application
This product can be used as a preservative, dye, pharmaceutical and injection molding intermediate, and alcohol esterification. It is also the main raw material of polymer liquid crystal polymer and the raw material of pesticide intermediate.
