Perfluorooctane, a colorless, clear, slightly kerosene-odored liquid.
It has the properties of excellent inertness, high density, low viscosity, low surface tension,
high dielectric strength, non-flammable, non-toxic, non-corrosive, no residue of volatilization and so on.
Application
In traditional applications, Perfluorooctane is mainly used in precision electronic cleaning, lubricants, insulating liquids, and so on.
Currently, the use of Perfluorooctane as a new generation of heavy water for ophthalmic surgery opens up the study of its use in medicine, with future possibilities in oxygen delivery, organ preservation, tissue repair.
