Introduction
Poly(tetrahydrofuran) (PTMEG) is a key raw material for the production of spandex and polyurethane elastomers. Used as the soft segment in polyurethane, it provides polyurethane products with excellent hydrolysis resistance, low-temperature resistance, and dynamic properties. It can also be used as a primary raw material for elastomer products, synthetic leather resins, and elastic fibers (spandex).
