Introduction
Poly-α-methylstyrene resin is referred to as PAMS resin, with a molecular weight of 590~1416. White block or powder. Soluble in acetone, toluene, cyclohexane, ethyl acetate, tetrahydrofuran, dichloromethane, etc., insoluble in solvent gasoline and water. It has good compatibility with SBS, SIS, styrene-butadiene rubber, butadiene rubber, polyurethane, natural rubber, nitrile rubber, chloroprene rubber, butyl rubber, ABS, CPVC, PVC, PS, EVA, POM, HIPS, etc. Non-toxic, LD50＞5100mg/kg.

Application:
PAMS resin is used as a tackifying resin for hot melt adhesives, pressure sensitive adhesives, chloroprene rubber adhesives, etc. It can improve initial adhesion and bonding strength. It can absorb ultraviolet rays with a wavelength of 270 to 330 nm and improve weather resistance.
