Introduction and Application
Properties:Potassium fluoride is a salt, also known as potassium fluoride salt. It is a white monoclinic crystal or crystalline powder, salty, hygroscopic, soluble in water but not in ethanol. Its aqueous solution is alkaline and can corrode glass and porcelain. Therefore, it is usually used as various glass etching, welding flux, wood preservative, agricultural insecticide, pesticide intermediate, pharmaceutical industry raw material and organic fluoride raw material. It plays an indispensable role in construction, chemical industry and agriculture.
Uses: Glass engraving, food preservation, electroplating, welding flux, pesticide, fluoridation agent absorbent (absorbs hydrofluoric acid water), and is also the raw material for making potassium bifluoride.
