Introduction
The active ingredient of this product is hydroxypropyl tetrahydropyranotriol, a xylose derivative. It activates senescent cells by utilizing the activity of the extracellular matrix to re-stimulate senescent cells and promote collagen synthesis. It promotes the conversion and building of proteoglycan content in proteoglycans, which improves the firmness of body cells and skin. It also influences the secretion of GAG (glycosaminoglycan), an extracellular matrix that protects the skin from water loss. Therefore, it can be recommended for use in anti-aging and anti-wrinkle cosmetics.
