Introduction and Application
Pyromellitic anhydride is a white or slightly yellow block and powder solid crystal with a specific gravity of 1.68. It is soluble in solvents such as acetone and dimethylacetamide. Pyromellitic anhydride is mainly used in the production of matting curing agent in powder coatings, polyimide resins and films, high temperature resistant electrical insulation paints, solid lubricants, epoxy resin curing agents, plasticizers and crosslinking agents for polyester resins.
