Introduction and Application
Sodium laurate is a fine white powder with a smooth feel. It is soluble in hot water and hot ethanol, and slightly soluble in cold ethanol, ether and other organic solvents. It has excellent cleaning, foaming, emulsifying, dispersing, wetting and penetrating abilities.
Sodium laurate is an important raw material for making soap and shampoo for textiles, and is also an indispensable component in soap. It can be used as an excellent surfactant, emulsifier, lubricant and detergent for cosmetics.
