Application
1. Used as a disguised acid in the chrome tanning process in the leather industry, used as a catalyst and stabilizer, a reducing agent in the printing and dyeing industry, and used to produce hydrosulfite, oxalic acid and formic acid to precipitate precious metals.
2. It can form trivalent metal complex ions in the solution. It has a buffering effect and can correct the pH value of strong acids.
3. Used in alkyd resin coatings, plasticizers, high explosives, acid-resistant materials, aviation lubricants, and adhesive additives.
