Introduction and Application

Sodium hyaluronate varies due to different product characteristics. The larger the molecular weight, the better the film-forming property, the smoother it is, and the more it can lock the surface moisture, but the water absorption is poor. The lower the molecular weight, the better the deep hydration and water retention ability. The molecular weight is also closely related to the biological activity. The lower the molecular weight, the higher the biological activity.

Ultra-small molecule sodium hyaluronate is a hyaluronic acid with an average molecular weight of less than 1000Da obtained by enzymatic cleavage of macromolecular hyaluronic acid. It is very soluble in water and has high solubility. It is added to a variety of cosmetics and has little effect on the viscosity of the product.

Hydrolyzed sodium hyaluronate uses a green enzyme hydrolysis process and does not contain acid and alkali substances in traditional chemical processes.

The molecular weight is 1KDa, the molecular weight range is narrow, and it can carry water and penetrate quickly to achieve a real water retention effect.

The main components of hydrolyzed sodium hyaluronate products are tetrasaccharides (HA4) and hexasaccharides (HA6), which account for more than 70% of the product components, and the product molecular weight distribution is concentrated.
