Introduction and Application

Tetra(methyl isobutyl ketoxime)silane is often mixed with methyl tri(methyl isobutyl ketoxime)silane, which can greatly improve the surface drying speed of dealkone oxime type room temperature curing silicone rubber, avoid surface cracks, and improve tensile strength and other properties.

Tetra(methyl isobutyl ketoxime)silane replaces vinyl tri(methyl isobutyl ketoxime)silane, which can avoid the disadvantage of vinyl tri(methyl isobutyl ketoxime)silane that it is easy to turn yellow. When using tetra(methyl isobutyl ketoxime)silane, it is also possible to avoid the use of catalyst organotin, which is applicable in places where organotin cannot be used.

Compared with tetrabutyl ketoximesilane, tetra(methyl isobutyl ketoxime)silane is liquid at room temperature and is relatively convenient to use. It has very low physiological toxicity and has good applicability in places where dealkone oxime type products are restricted. It can be used to prepare environmentally friendly RTV silicone rubber that is in close contact with people.
