Product Details
Introduction and Application
The structure of quaternary phosphonium salt is similar to that of quaternary ammonium salt. The radius of phosphorus atom is larger than that of nitrogen atom, and the polarization effect is stronger than that of quaternary ammonium salt. Main uses: phosphine ylide precursor of Wittig reaction in the synthesis of fine chemicals, medicines, and liquid crystal monomers, curing accelerator of polymer polymerization, and phase transfer catalyst in organic synthetic chemistry.
Tetraphenylphosphonium phenolate is mainly used as a catalyst for esterification and transesterification reactions.
