Introduction and Application
Titanium dioxide is a soft, odorless, white powder with strong hiding and tinting power, and a melting point of 1560-1580℃. It is insoluble in water, dilute inorganic acids, organic solvents, and oils, slightly soluble in alkali, and soluble in concentrated sulfuric acid. It turns yellow when heated and turns white again after cooling. Food-grade titanium dioxide is a highly molecular, non-encapsulated anatase titanium dioxide. It is commonly known as white pigment in the field of food and medicine. It can also be called food-grade titanium dioxide, or pharmaceutical-grade titanium dioxide, edible titanium dioxide, and is also used as a food whitening agent. It is non-toxic, odorless, and white powder. Sometimes, for the convenience of dispersion, it is also made into a liquid state. It is widely used in the pharmaceutical, food, and cosmetic industries.

1. Medicine: In pharmaceutical preparations, it can be used as a white colorant to prepare film coating suspensions, sugar coatings, and gelatin capsules. It can also be mixed with other colorants and used in skin preparations. It can also replace starch as an excipient for drugs.
