Application
It is mainly used to synthesize vinyl-containing silane coupling agents such as vinyl trimethoxysilane, vinyl triethoxysilane and vinyl trisbutyl oxime silane. It reacts with resorcinol to produce vinyl trichlorosilane resorcinol reactant, commonly known as NOL.-28 treatment agent, which is used to treat glass cloth boards with phenolic and silicone reinforced materials. It can also be used to modify chlorine-containing resins (such as PVC resins).
