Introduction
Trimethylolpropane (TMP) has 3 typical hydroxymethyl groups on the molecule, thus it has polyol properties similar to glycerol, and can react with organic acids to form mono- or multi-ester, with aldehydes and ketones to form aldehyde and ketone acetal, with diisocyanate to form urethane and so on, which is a kind of widely used chemical raw materials and chemical products.

Application
1.Mainly used in the production of alkyd resin and polyurethane resin;
2.Used in the production of curing agent for paints and coatings;
3.Used in the synthesis of high-grade lubricating oil, plasticiser, printing ink and so on;
4.Used in the preparation of emulsifiers, liquid fuel additives;
5. Used as textile auxiliaries, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin heat stabiliser and the synthesis of a variety of fine chemicals.
