Product Details
Introduction
Trioctylamine is a high molecular weight tertiary amine compound, which is a colorless to light yellow transparent oily liquid with a slight amine odor. Its molecular structure contains three octyl (C8) alkyl groups, which give it good hydrophobicity and extraction properties. It is widely used in the field of hydrometallurgy as an efficient metal extractant for selectively extracting cobalt, nickel, vanadium, rare earth and other metals from solutions; it can also be used as a phase transfer catalyst to improve the conversion efficiency in organic synthesis reactions.
