Introduction
Tribromoneopentyl alcohol is a reactive flame retardant. It contains about 73% aliphatic bromine.
Tribromoneopentyl alcohol has a high bromine content and special stability. Its heat resistance, hydrolysis resistance and light stability are particularly outstanding.
The main use of tribromoneopentyl alcohol is as a reactive intermediate of high molecular weight flame retardant. Its high solubility enables it to combine with phosphorus very effectively. Tribromoneopentyl alcohol
can be used as a reactive flame retardant for polyurethane; it can produce flame retardant elastomers with ethyl carbamate groups through its monohydroxyl function reaction; its high bromine content and good compatibility can be used in hard or soft polyurethane. It can improve its flame retardant grade; it can be used in combination with dibromoneopentyl alcohol to make full use of their hydroxyl functions.
Package: 25kg/drum.
