Introduction
UItraviolet absorber Tinuvin-1130 is a liquid hydroxyphenylbenzotriazole ultraviolet absorber that can absorb 280-380 nanometer ultraviolet light with an absorption peak of 343 nanometers. It has the characteristics of good compatibility, low volatility, good dispersibility, low migration, good thermal stability, and high absorption efficiency. It is soluble in polar and non-polar solvents. The unique hydroxyl group can cross-link with melamine and isocyanate to reduce migration. It is easy to emulsify the water-based system, and the dispersion in the water-based system can be obtained by dissolving in water-based solvents such as diethylene glycol diethyl ether. It is suitable for solvent coatings and water-based coatings.
UItraviolet absorber Tinuvin-1130 is used in conjunction with light stabilizers UV292 and UV123 to significantly improve the durability of the coating and inhibit the coating from losing gloss, discoloration, cracking, and delamination. General dosage (relative to solid resin): 1-3%, UV1130; or 0.5-2%, UV292, UV123.
Application
Applicable to: Water-based system. UV-1130, which has high temperature resistance and anti-extraction properties, is very suitable for automotive paint, industrial paint and other fields with high weather resistance requirements.
