Introduction
Zinc 2-mercaptobenzothiazole is also called rubber vulcanization accelerator ZMBT (MZ), which is suitable for natural rubber, isoprene rubber, butadiene rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, nitrile rubber, EPDM rubber and latex.
Accelerator ZMBT has the same performance as accelerator MBT when used for dry rubber and has low scorching. It has mild activity in latex system and is usually used with super accelerator. The critical temperature of vulcanization is high (138℃). It is not easy to produce early vulcanization and the vulcanization flatness is wide. It is suitable for latex system and has the function of adjusting the viscosity of the system. It is suitable for injection molding and foaming rubber products. It is safe to operate, easy to disperse, no pollution, no discoloration. It is resistant to aging when used with accelerator SDBC. The aging resistance of vulcanization is good, which can improve the bonding strength between rubber and metal and does not spray.
Accelerator ZMBT is mainly used to manufacture general industrial products and latex products such as tires, hoses, rubber shoes, and rubber tape.
