2,2,2-Trifluoroethyl Acrylate (CAS 407-47-6) is an organic compound that appears as a colorless to pale yellow liquid. It contains the stabiliser MEHQ and has three rotatable chemical bonds. It is classified as a Class 3 flammable liquid and is acutely toxic and a skin irritant. It is synthesised by reacting trifluoroethanol with acryloyl chloride or acrylic acid.
